The date 1614 appears in the lower exergue beneath the central device. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design, reading MO NO VA AGVS SPICO PAL, abbreviating Moneta Nova Augusta Spinola Palatinus, and referencing the issuing authority Agostino Spinola. The coin's border is defined by a fine inner toothed rim. |

| Description du revers | Central field bears the quartered heraldic shield of the Spinola family, displaying the arms of the County of Tassarolo with multiple quarterings including horizontal bars, a displayed eagle, and rampant lions, surmounted by a closed princely crown. The encircling Latin legend VIRTVE CAESAREA DVCE reads around the periphery, attributing the ruler's authority to Imperial virtue, and is separated by stops.
