| Descrição do reverso | The full-length armored effigy of Saint Ladislaus I of Hungary (Szent László) is depicted standing slightly to the right, clad in full plate armor. In his right hand he holds a battle-axe, and in his left he bears a globus cruciger, emblems of royal and saintly authority. The figure is rendered in the traditional Hungarian ducat style, with fine detailing on the armored surcoat. The surrounding Latin legend includes the saint's name and the date, reading S * LADISLAVS REX * 1597. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. |
