| Obverse description | Conjoined busts of the two co-ruling dukes, Johann Christian and Georg Rudolf, facing one another in three-quarter view at center, both armored and elaborately draped in the manner of early seventeenth-century Silesian portraiture. The figures are rendered in high relief against a flat field, surrounded by a beaded inner circle. The peripheral legend reads MO AVR IOAN CHR ET GEOR RVD FR(, continuing around the full circumference of the coin. |
