| Opis rewersu | Centrally placed quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Bronckhorst-Batenburg lordship, divided into four quarters displaying alternating diagonal lozengy and lion passant devices, with a smaller inescutcheon at the center. Two rampant lions serve as supporters flanking the shield to the left and right. The date 15-78 is split across the lower flanks of the shield. A beaded inner border encloses the armorial composition, while the Latin monetary legend encircles the design in the outer field. The workmanship is consistent with late sixteenth-century Netherlands hammered gold coinage. |
