The mintmaster's initial 'A' appears in the lower exergue. The circumferential Latin legend CHRISTIANVS • VI • D • G • REX • DAN • NORV • A encircles the effigy, separated by raised dots, within a milled border, commemorating the deceased monarch on the occasion of his successor's accession. |
