The effigy occupies the majority of the field, with the mintmaster's initials 'A' visible in the lower exergue area. The circumferential Latin legend reads FRIDERICVS • V • D • G • REX • DAN • NORV • G • A, separated by raised dots, running along the inner edge of the milled border. |
