| 正面描述 | Draped bust of King Frederick I of Sweden facing right, wearing a cuirass with elaborate decorative detail and a flowing periwig rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner. The portrait is vigorous and naturalistic, occupying the majority of the coin's field. The circumferential legend in Latin reads FRIDERICUS • D•G • REX • SVECIÆ •, identifying the monarch as King of Sweden by the grace of God. The coin's milled edge is visible at the periphery. |

Frederick I of Sweden — born Friedrich of Hesse-Kassel — came to the throne in 1720 largely as a figurehead, with real authority vested in the Riksdag under the constitution forced through after Charles XII's death. These ducats were struck during what Swedes called the Age of Liberty, a period of parliamentary dominance so complete that the king's monogram on the coinage was, with some irony, among the few places his presence was actually felt. The Stockholm Mint produced ducats primarily for diplomatic gifts and foreign trade rather than domestic circulation.
The two-year window for this type is narrow, and the KM#A401 designation distinguishes it from the several portrait and monogram variants Frederick accumulated across his long reign.
