| Obverse description | Double-headed crowned imperial eagle displayed in the field, with a shield of two-fold arms superimposed on the breast. The encircling Latin legend includes the abbreviated titles of the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V, with the date of issue at the conclusion of the inscription where present.
