The shield is surmounted by a large royal crown with detailed jewelled arches. The circular legend FOLKETS KÄRLEK MIN BELÖNING surrounds the wreath, reading 'The love of the people is my reward.' Below the shield, separated by a six-pointed star ornament, the mintmaster's initials C·B· and the date 1827 appear in the lower exergual area. |
