| Obverse description | Central device consisting of the Augsburg pine cone (Pyr) displayed within an elaborate baroque cartouche of scrolling acanthus foliage, surmounted by the city's triple-towered mural crown above, and a small imperial orb below. The legend AVGVSTA VINDELICORVM arcs around the upper periphery with the date 1762 continuing to the right, all within a finely milled border. The mint-master's initials F.A.H. appear in the lower field. |
