| Descrição do anverso | Degraded bust of the Sasanian king Peroz I facing right, depicted wearing an elaborate winged crown surmounted by a crescent and globe, rendered in the schematic, flattened style characteristic of Sogdian imitative coinage. The effigy is surrounded by a beaded border. Two countermarks are applied in the field: a rectangular countermark of type 1 at the left, bearing a stylized Sogdian tamgha device, and a second countermark of type 3 visible at the upper right, also struck over the existing design. The overall workmanship is cruder than the Sasanian prototype, reflecting local Central Asian die-cutting traditions. |

| Descrição do reverso | A Zoroastrian fire altar rendered in the schematic imitative style, depicted frontally with a stepped or columnar shaft rising to a flame at the summit, flanked on either side by a standing attendant figure holding a barsom or staff. Degraded Pahlavi inscriptions, derived from the Sasanian prototype legends of Peroz I, appear in the fields to the left and right of the altar, though the lettering is considerably debased and largely illegible. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border. The overall design faithfully follows the standard Sasanian drachm reverse type but with the simplification and degeneration typical of Northern Tokharistan imitative issues. |
