This piece copies a type struck by one of the most prolific Sasanian mints, yet the issuing authority deliberately omitted or corrupted the regnal name, producing what scholars catalog as "anonymous" not from carelessness but likely from political calculation or simple die-cutter unfamiliarity with Pahlavi script.
