| 表面の説明 | Stylized bust of the Bukhar Khudat ruler facing right, depicted in the Sasanian tradition with an elaborate crown or headdress adorned with crescent and pellet ornaments. The effigy is rendered in a debased, provincial style derived from late Sasanian prototypes, with simplified facial features and a beaded necklace or torque visible at the neck. The field around the bust is densely inscribed with a Sogdian legend identifying the issuing authority. A plier countermark, characteristic of the 'Mug' type, is applied to the coin's surface. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic hammered fabric. |
