| Obverse description | Stylized bust of a ruler facing right in the field, depicted with an elaborate headdress or diadem featuring decorative hatching and beaded ornaments, rendered in a provincial imitative style derived from Sasanian prototypes. The facial features are rendered with a pronounced eye, nose, and chin in low relief, characteristic of Central Asian coinage of the period. A beaded border surrounds the design. The overall style reflects the hybrid Sogdian-Sasanian artistic tradition common to Transoxiana and the Syr Darya region during the 9th century. |

| Reverse description | A mounted horseman depicted in right profile, shown in a dynamic riding pose with arm raised, rendered in a schematic and provincial style characteristic of Oghuz imitative coinage. The figure is shown with minimal detail typical of hammered silver issues from the Syr Darya region. A Chorasmian inscription naming Namij Jabuya appears in the field. A dotted or beaded border frames the design, and the flan is irregular in outline as is typical of hand-struck issues of this period. |
