| 正面描述 | Right-facing draped bust of Prince Federico Landi wearing an elaborate lace ruff collar, rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner. The hair is rendered naturalistically with flowing locks. The engraver's initial 'G' (for Gandusio) appears in the lower field beneath the truncation. A Latin legend surrounds the effigy, interrupted by pellet stops, reading partially along the upper periphery within a beaded border. |

Compiano was a micro-principality in the Apennine hills between Parma and Genoa, small enough that its monetary output across the entire seventeenth century amounts to only a handful of types. Federico Landi ruled from 1620 until his death in 1630, and the window for this doppia is correspondingly tight — barely two years of production, almost certainly in small quantities serving prestige and political signaling rather than commercial circulation.
MIR 85 is among the rarest entries in the Landi coinage sequence.
