Описание аверса	Central field features the full coat of arms of Sierra Leone, comprising a shield supported by two lions rampant flanking two palm trees, with three torches depicted on the shield and a lion passant at its base. A scroll beneath the shield bears the national motto in the legend UNITY FREEDOM JUSTICE. The legend REPUBLIC OF SIERRA LEONE arcs along the upper periphery, while the date 2022 is inscribed in the lower field. The coin exhibits a distinctive decagonal inner border within its round flan, a hallmark of Pobjoy Mint's Virenium issues for Sierra Leone.

Virenium, a proprietary copper-based alloy developed by Pobjoy Mint, gives the piece its distinctive pale gold tone without plating.
