表面の説明 Black print on off-white paper with `1` above `ONE` overprinted; no underprint; handwritten red serial number. Uppercase inscription in upper margin and a cursive line of text below. Two circles, each containing a bold `1` partly encircled by text above. At the center, large bold lettering declares “THE STATE OF LOUISIANA.” Beneath, the text states: “Will pay ONE DOLLAR to the Bearer at the Treasury office February 24th, 1862,” followed by “BATON ROUGE” printed below. Typography is ornate, with mixed fonts and weights. No portrait or vignette imagery present. Framed by a thin engraved border with corner embellishments. No watermark, security thread, or color-shifting ink present; typical of early Confederate-era emergency state issues.
