| 裏面の説明 | The reverse depicts the Letzigrund Stadium in Zürich in aerial perspective, rendered in fine relief at the centre of the field, commemorating the UEFA Euro 2008 venue. Overlapping the lower portion of the stadium design is a large football shown in close-up detail, its hexagonal panel pattern clearly delineated. The curved legend ÖSTERREICH SCHWEIZ 2008 arcs along the upper rim, and the city name ZÜRICH appears in the lower exergue. |

Liberia's collector coinage program of the 2000s was essentially a licensing operation — the Central Bank contracted with private minting firms, primarily in Germany, to produce themed issues with no meaningful connection to Liberia itself. The "Stadium of Zürich" dollar is one of hundreds of such pieces, struck for the international novelty coin market rather than any domestic purpose. At roughly 1.24 grams of .999 silver, the actual metal content is negligible; the economics were entirely in the collectible premium.
