| Opis rewersu | Printed entirely in green intaglio, the reverse is dominated by a central cartouche bearing the legends UNITED STATES and SILVER CERTIFICATE, enclosing an inner oval with the receivability clause. Two large stylised ONE counters flanked by ornamental floral guilloche panels occupy the left and right fields, while elaborate rosette and scroll lathe-work fills the corners and borders. The imprint BUREAU OF ENGRAVING AND PRINTING, WASHINGTON, D.C. runs along the lower margin. |
