Mô tả mặt trước The obverse occupies the rounded upper lobe of the Yin-Yang teardrop form, featuring the right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with a pearl necklace, rendered in the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait style. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left rim and FIJI along the upper rim, while ONE DOLLAR curves along the right. The date 2010 appears in the lower field beneath the portrait. The contrasting mirror-proof field and frosted relief lend the design a strong cameo effect. The adjacent tiger-stripe motif seamlessly transitions into the reverse half of the composition.

Thông tin bổ sung

This piece belongs to the wave of wildlife-themed legal tender issues commissioned through the Pobjoy Mint and similar facilities during the late 2000s, where small Pacific island nations — Fiji among the most prolific — lent their issuing authority to coin programs with no meaningful connection to local fauna or history. The Siberian tiger has no relation to Fiji whatsoever. These arrangements were commercially driven, targeting collector markets in Europe and North America rather than circulating domestically.

KM#152 mintages were tightly controlled, as is typical of such licensed programs, though precise figures are rarely disclosed by the issuing authority.
