Описание лицевой стороны	The obverse is printed in black on white paper, with the denomination ONE DOLLAR / UNE PIASTRE appearing vertically in ornate panels at left and right margins. A central vignette depicts a classical allegorical female figure standing between two columns, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. The words STEEL PLATE are inscribed in open letterpress characters across the upper and lower central areas of the design, referencing the engraving method used. The overall impression is a densely patterned, pale intaglio composition with no colour underprint.
