The legend E · PLURIBUS · UNUM arcs along the upper periphery, flanked on both sides by a ring of thirteen eight-pointed stars within a beaded border. The date appears in the lower exergue. The design faithfully reproduces George T. Morgan's classic 1878 effigy, rendered here with exceptional sharpness on .999 fine silver. |
