| 正面描述 | The complete coat of arms of the Republic of Namibia occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield supported by two rearing oryx antelopes, surmounted by an African fish eagle with wings displayed. The circular legend REPUBLIC OF NAMIBIA runs along the left and lower periphery, all contained within a continuous beaded border. |

| 背面描述 | A full-colour photographic reproduction of a gemsbok (Oryx gazella) standing in a desert landscape fills the central field, the animal depicted in three-quarter rear view with its distinctive long straight horns and boldly contrasting facial markings clearly rendered. The Miss Universe logo and the stylised inscription NAMIBIA appear in the upper left of the coloured field. The denomination $1 is inscribed in the lower segment of the coin against a dark ground. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |

Namibia's 1995 Miss Universe dollar was struck to commemorate Michelle McLean, who won the Miss Universe title in 1992 — the first major international beauty title claimed by an independent Namibian, just two years after the country severed its administrative ties with South Africa. The coin was issued under the young republic's first commemorative program, when Namibia was still establishing the basic infrastructure of its national mint arrangements, relying on external striking facilities.
