| Reverse description | The reverse bears a colour-printed reproduction of the iconic Byzantine-style image of the Black Madonna of Czestochowa, one of the most venerated Marian icons in the Catholic tradition, rendered in rich polychrome enamel-like hues including deep greens, golds, and ochres against a dark background. The Virgin Mary is depicted in a frontal or three-quarter pose, her robe adorned in ornate gold and green tones, consistent with the celebrated Jasna Góra iconographic tradition. This piece forms the ninth issue in a series of twenty-four coins dedicated to famous Madonnas of the world.
