| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Palau occupies the central field, depicting a traditional Palauan outrigger canoe above a shield bearing the figure of a crowned Neptune holding a trident alongside a mermaid, surrounded by an ornamental border of coral and marine flora.
