Issued to mark the bicentennial of the Battle of Trafalgar, fought on 21 October 1805. The engagement ended French and Spanish naval ambitions in the Atlantic for the remainder of the Napoleonic Wars, but cost Nelson his life — he was struck by a musket ball fired from the mizzen top of the Redoutable and died below decks some three hours before the battle concluded.
