Reverse description The reverse presents an architectural composition depicting the facade and nave elevation of the Duomo di Milano in high-relief, with its celebrated Gothic tracery, rose windows, and soaring marble spires rendered in precise detail across the right half of the oval field. The left half of the field features an openwork-style engraving of Gothic window tracery with interlocking quatrefoil motifs. A circular color-printed insert at the upper center again reproduces a stained-glass window image of the Virgin Mary in vivid reds, blues, and gold, consistent with the cathedral's interior glazing. The fineness mark Ag 925 appears in the lower left field. The legend · DUOMO · MILANO · curves along the upper border.
