| Obverse description | The obverse features a crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II in right-facing profile, set within a central medallion superimposed upon a highly stylised, split design evoking a large vehicle wheel. LIAZ — Liberecké Automobilové Závody — was a Czechoslovak truck manufacturer whose heavy vehicles became workhorses across the Eastern Bloc from the 1950s onward. The 110-55 model, introduced in the 1980s, was a cab-over-engine design built for long-haul freight and saw wide deployment across Soviet-aligned transport networks. Niue has issued dozens of coins in collaboration with Czech and Slovak mints honoring Central European industrial and transport heritage, targeting collector markets in the region rather than any domestic circulation purpose.
