Two players raise their sticks triumphantly in the left foreground while a third figure is shown near the goal net at right, where a Soviet goaltender lies sprawled on the ice. The anniversary dates '1972' and '1997' flank a stylized maple leaf emblem in the upper right field. Bilingual inscriptions in French and English appear in the lower central field, with the denomination legend 'CANADA DOLLAR' arcing along the lower rim. |
