Overlapping the bust at centre is a large treble clef, and to the right a segment of musical staff with handwritten-style notation fills the background field. The engraver's initials RV appear at lower left, and the Perth Mint's P mintmark is situated at centre right. The curved legend FRÉDÉRIC CHOPIN and the composer's life dates 1810 – 1849 are inscribed along the right periphery. |
