| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace, as designed by Raphael David Maklouf; the engraver's initials RDM appear beneath the bust truncation. The legend QUEEN ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 DOLLAR and the issuer TUVALU are inscribed along the lower left, and the date 2010 appears along the lower right. The engraver's initials RV appear at lower left, and the Perth Mint's P mintmark is situated at centre right.
