Aanvullende informatie

New South Wales was granted its coat of arms by royal warrant in 1906, making it one of the older formally gazetted state arms in Australia. This 2022 issue falls within the Royal Australian Mint's ongoing state and territory heraldry program, which has produced numerous collector releases tied to Australian civic identity. The sixth portrait of Elizabeth II, by sculptor Jody Clark, was introduced in 2015 and proved to be her last effigy approved for circulation coinage before her death in September 2022.
