Reverse description The reverse features a striking palaeontological depiction of Diamantinasaurus matildae, a large titanosaur sauropod indigenous to Queensland, Australia. The dinosaur's long, textured neck and body extend diagonally across the upper portion of the field from right to left, with the head lowered toward the lower left, rendered in fine relief with detailed scale and skin patterning. A rocky terrain element occupies the lower right of the field, evoking the dinosaur's Cretaceous environment. The denomination '1 DOLLAR' is inscribed prominently in the central field. The series title 'AUSTRALIAN DINOSAURS' arcs along the upper periphery and the species name 'DIAMANTINASAURUS' curves along the lower border, both set in bold upright lettering.
