| 背面描述 | The reverse features three superimposed profile portraits of Queen Elizabeth II as they appeared on successive Australian coinage issues, arranged within a central circle to illustrate the evolution of the royal effigy. Decorative laurel wreaths flank both sides of an outer beaded circle, framing the design. The denomination ONE DOLLAR appears as the principal legend. |

The "Majestic Images" dollar was part of a broader RAM program in the late 1990s celebrating iconic Australian wildlife photography, issued the same year Australia was in the final stretch of preparations for the Sydney 2000 Olympics — a period when the mint was producing proof sets at an unusually high volume to satisfy collector demand both domestically and abroad. The fourth portrait of Elizabeth II, sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley, had only been adopted across Australian coinage in 1999, making this among the earliest RAM issues to carry it.
