Aanvullende informatie

The "Majestic Images" dollar was part of a broader RAM program in the late 1990s celebrating iconic Australian wildlife photography, issued the same year Australia was in the final stretch of preparations for the Sydney 2000 Olympics — a period when the mint was producing proof sets at an unusually high volume to satisfy collector demand both domestically and abroad. The fourth portrait of Elizabeth II, sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley, had only been adopted across Australian coinage in 1999, making this among the earliest RAM issues to carry it.
