Reverse description The rectangular reverse presents a vivid colour-printed scene from the Disney 'Winnie the Pooh' universe. On the left side of the composition, Winnie the Pooh is depicted clambering atop a tall, precarious tower of stacked 'HUNNY' pots, with honey dripping down the sides of the colourfully rendered vessels. To the right, Piglet stands watching beside a branch balanced as a makeshift see-saw, upon which rests a single honey pot. A naturalistically rendered tree with green foliage occupies the upper right of the field, with a beehive suspended from one of its branches and bees hovering nearby. The Disney 'Winnie the Pooh' logotype appears in red at the top of the field, and the lower margin bears the legend 'Disney × agoro' to the left and the individual edition number '0000/2000' to the right.

Additional information

Niue has operated a licensing-based commemorative coin program since the 1990s, contracting the rights to third-party intellectual properties — Disney characters among them — and issuing legal tender under New Zealand monetary authority. The arrangement is purely revenue-driven; these coins circulate nowhere and are produced entirely for the collector market.

Charles III's effigy appears here in his first years as monarch following the death of Elizabeth II in September 2022.
