Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a vivid, full-color depiction of a Plesiosaurus emerging dramatically from a prehistoric sea, its large paddle-like flippers and long neck rendered in applied color with iridescent green, teal, and amber hues. The creature is shown breaching the water surface, with stylized waves and air bubbles surrounding its body in finely engraved detail. In the background, two pterosaurs soar above a primordial landscape featuring a volcanic eruption at upper left, while an ichthyosaur is depicted in the underwater foreground at lower right. The inscription PLESIOSAURUS appears in bold relief lettering along the upper left arc of the field.
