| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic Kufic inscription arranged in horizontal bands within a single inner circle, bearing the Shahada: 'La ilaha illa Allah, wahdahu la sharika lah' (There is no god but God, alone, without partner). A marginal legend in Arabic script runs along the outer border between two concentric circles, with decorative pellet motifs at intervals. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan of Buyid hammered silver coinage, with the legends sharply struck in angular Kufic style. |
