| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displays multiple horizontal lines of Arabic Kufic script arranged within a double beaded inner circle, naming the Abbasid caliph al-Qadir Billah and the Buyid ruler Qiwam al-Dawla, along with the Prophetic mission formula. A continuous marginal legend band, separated from the central inscription by a beaded border, carries the Quranic verse of the mission (Sura 9:33) running around the full circumference. The flan is irregular and slightly cracked at the edges, characteristic of hammered silver production of the period. |

The Kerman branch of the Buyids operated as a semi-autonomous tributary line under the main Buyid confederation, and by the early eleventh century was caught between the declining Buyid grip on Persia and the rising pressure of the Ghaznavid sultanate pushing westward. Qiwam al-Dawla — whose laqab translates roughly as "Pillar of the State" — struck silver dirhams asserting legitimacy through a title rather than military dominance he did not have.
Album 1583 covers a narrow slice of Kerman Buyid issues that are genuinely scarce in the trade, appearing far less frequently than their Shiraz or Ray counterparts.
