Obverse description Central field contains a multi-line Arabic religious inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a double linear border. An inner circular legend in Arabic script surrounds the central text panel, with a further outer marginal legend filling the outer annulus. Pellet or annulet ornaments and small six-pointed star symbols are placed at the cardinal points between the border rings, typical of Abbasid-style silver dirhams of the eastern caliphate. The overall layout follows the epigraphic dirham tradition, with no figurative imagery.
