The overall layout follows the classical Abbasid-influenced dirham format adapted by Qarakhanid rulers. The flan is irregular with slight ragged edges characteristic of hammered production, and the surface displays natural oxidation and patination. The legends remain substantially legible despite moderate die wear. |
