| Obverse description | Irregular hammered silver flan bearing densely packed Arabic legends arranged in multiple registers across the field, executed in a bold raised script characteristic of Yemeni Rassid coinage. The inscriptions, rendered in angular and cursive Arabic, fill the entire face without figurative imagery, consistent with Islamic epigraphic numismatic tradition. The die impression is slightly off-centre, with portions of the marginal legend visible along the periphery. The surface shows natural aging with areas of toning and minor pitting typical of medieval Islamic silver dirhams. |
