| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of President Habib Bourguiba facing left, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail. The legend arcs bilingually around the upper periphery in both Arabic and Latin scripts, reading the president's name and title. The date 1969 appears in the lower field beneath the portrait.
