| Opis rewersu | Central square panel enclosing multiple lines of Maghribi Arabic script carrying the ruler's name, titles, and additional religious formulae, arranged in horizontal registers in the Marinid epigraphic tradition. A linear square frame surrounds the central inscription field, with a circular marginal legend in Arabic script occupying the area between the frame and the beaded outer border. The surface shows the characteristic irregular flan and softness of strike typical of hammered Marinid gold dinars. The design is consistent with the square-in-circle format used throughout Marinid coinage. |
