| Obverse description | Central field displays the Caetani heraldic shield, charged with a wavy or nebuly fess, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The escutcheon is rendered in relief with clear heraldic detail characteristic of late 14th-century Italian hammered coinage. A circular legend in Gothic uncial script surrounds the beaded border, reading the name and title of the patriarch. The overall composition is symmetrical and typical of the feudal ecclesiastical coinage of the Patriarchate of Aquileia. |

| Reverse description | A long voided cross pattée occupies the full field, its arms extending to the inner beaded circle and dividing the reverse into four quadrants, each adorned with a rose ornament in the angles. A second beaded circle frames the cross design, beyond which the circular legend in Gothic uncial script is disposed in four segments separated by pellets. The design is characteristic of medieval ecclesiastical denaro coinage, combining devotional cross imagery with civic identification of the mint city. |
