| Obverse description | Central device features an ornate Byzantine-style cross pattée with elaborately decorated trefoil terminals and granulated pellet ornamentation at each extremity, rendered in high relief against a polished mirror field. The cross is symmetrically composed with flared, lobed arms terminating in stylized floral motifs, evoking the tradition of early Christian ecclesiastical art.
