正面描述	Central device consists of a Phrygian liberty cap inscribed LIBERTAD, set upon a radiating sunburst of alternating long and short rays that fill the entire field. The cap is rendered in high relief with fine detail, its bead-trimmed brim clearly delineated. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE LA NUEVA GRANADA arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, while the date 1847 appears at the base below the sunburst. A raised rim borders the entire design.
