| Beschrijving voorzijde | This Swedish copper plate money (plåtmynt) bears five applied stamps: four identical corner stamps, each featuring the crowned royal monogram of Queen Ulrika Eleonora flanking the divided date, and a central stamp depicting the denomination inscription above a pair of crossed arrows, the traditional symbol of the Swedish mining and coinage authority. The plate itself is a large, irregularly rectangular slab of hammered copper with chamfered corners, typical of the Swedish plate money series. The stamps are applied by hand dies, resulting in slight variations in impression depth and alignment across the surface. The obverse lettering reads 'I DALER SILF:MYNT' on the central stamp, with the regnal year divided across the corner stamps. |
