The plate itself is a large, irregularly rectangular slab of hammered copper with chamfered corners, typical of the Swedish plate money series. The stamps are applied by hand dies, resulting in slight variations in impression depth and alignment across the surface. The obverse lettering reads 'I DALER SILF:MYNT' on the central stamp, with the regnal year divided across the corner stamps. |
