| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Royal Arms of George IV at centre, featuring a quartered shield with the arms of England (three passant guardant lions), Scotland (a rampant lion within a double tressure), Ireland (a harp), and Hanover (inescutcheon), surmounted by the Imperial State Crown and flanked by elaborate acanthus-scroll mantling. Below the shield, a ribbon cartouche bears the motto DIEU ET MON DROIT in two segments. The circular legend BRITANNIARUM REX FID: DEF: runs around the upper periphery, separated from the toothed border by a raised rim. The composition is rendered in high relief with finely detailed engraving consistent with the work of Jean Baptiste Merlen. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is uniface, presenting a plain, unadorned concave field entirely devoid of design, legend, or inscription. A raised rim with a double-line border frames the blank surface, consistent with the uniface pattern format in which only one die was prepared for striking. Surface wear and numerous fine scratches are visible across the gold-plated copper field. |
